New York Fashion Week-Spring 2020

New York Fashion Week-Spring 2020

We may just be starting the Fall season, but last week at New York Fashion Week (NYFW) brands hit the stage running with their Spring 2020 collections.  While looking through some of my favorite designers looks from NYFW there were two trends that stood out from designer to designer.
Mixing of prints and patterns:
This has been around for a few seasons and I do not think it is going anywhere any time soon! In Nicole Miller’s runway show I noticed a lot of stripe prints mixed with floral prints along with lace mixed with floral patterns.  In Kate Spade’s collection there were multiple looks that had the same print, but a different color of the print on each piece of clothing paired together.

Bright Colors:
Alice and Olivia’s Spring 2020 collection screamed color from the get go!  Red, pink, yellow, and Royal Blue just a few of the colors that were used for full outfits.  Kate Spade’s Spring 2020 collection also a good amount of monotone outfits-see below!

While we may be excited to break out all of our sweaters and cool weather clothing right this instant, I am sure we will be elated to rock these trends in the Spring!
