Our employee spotlight this week is on Janet Douglas! Janet works in our back accounting office with Deborah, Lauren, Renee, (and Eloise!) Janet is our accountant and we truly don't know what we would do without her! She keeps us calm when things get crazy, and always has a smile on her face. She brought a sign to work a couple years ago that says "you don't have to be crazy to work here... we'll train you!" Isn't that the truth!!

What is your role at Laura of Pembroke? 
Accountant
Before working at Laura of Pembroke, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
Worked at the County Fair Office - taking entries for everyone's livestock, photography projects, baked goods, etc, before the fair, then being in the information office at the fair, making announcements and paging lost kids and families.
If you could switch your job with anyone else within LOP, whose job would you want?
Absolutely no one's!! I think we all are in roles that suit us best.
What do you like most about working at LOP?
First, the people that work here are so fun & fabulous. Second, the flexibility I have allows me to work around the rest of my life without missing anything. Third, seeing such beautiful things every day puts you in a good mood.
How many years have you worked at LOP?
Four years.
What is your all time favorite LOP purchase?
Probably the Kate Spade bags for my girls.
Best vacation you’ve been to?
Taking the whole family to Ireland this past summer with my in-laws and seeing them tell the kids about where they were born & raised.

Favorite travel spot?
Anywhere with a beach, crystal clear water & sunshine.

Anywhere that I'm not cooking!

Hang out with kids, enjoy our pool, catch up around house.

Africa to go on a safari.
