We’ve all been there. We need to buy a new sofa or sectional. What to do, what to do? My home has 2 sectionals and our family loves them. One is a huge oversized, cozy sectional in our basement. You can literally fit 4 grown boys on it in the sleeping position. Our other one isn’t quite as big, but our family of 5 and a friend fit quite comfortably on it. Sounds like I’m a little biased to the sectional, so that’s why this week’s blog is devoted to “Sectional Seating”.
The great thing about a sectional is they can be as big or small as you need for your room. It can be a large great room or a small family room and you can find the size and configuration that suits your needs. If it’s a room for watching TV, a sectional consisting of a chaise is a great option. We included an ottoman with our sectional because who doesn’t want to put their feet up while watching TV?
Sectionals really define a room well. They are casual rather than formal and what better way for family to gather together to watch movies where you want to be close to each other or even snuggle. Don’t forget the “Big Game” where friends gather together to watch their favorite team win the championship! (Go Cavs!)
If you like to change you room around a lot, a sectional may not be the best option for you. A sofa and 2 chairs may be the better choice. If you’ve decided that a sectional is the way to go, make sure to choose one that’s comfortable, stylish, and functional for the room. Check out the different sectionals below:
